Many of Hawaii's young people believe they must move to the mainland to pursue a successful career – but the reality is, the state has made a strong investment in innovation and conservation in recent years, and some of the most exciting breakthroughs in the world are taking place in paradise.

ROADTRIP NATION Season 15 – SETTING COURSE IN HAWAII takes college students Traven, Tehani, and Keakealani on an excursion through the islands to see how Hawaii's unique geology, environment, and culture offer opportunities they never knew existed in their own backyard. 

As the students explore the islands and talk with professionals in the fields of science, technology, engineering, the arts and math (STEAM), they begin to envision the contributions they can make and the lives they can build following their passions – and their dreams of carrying Hawaii's rich heritage into the future.
